National Business Spotlight Shines on MiresBall
MiresBall makes Inc. magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies
SAN DIEGO, October 1, 2007 — MiresBall, one of the largest independent brand design firms in Southern California, is capturing the attention of the nation’s business world, cracking Inc. magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies.
MiresBall ranked 3,099 on the publication’s first-ever Inc. 5000, an extension of its annual Inc. 500 list.
Inc.’s rankings are based on revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. Qualifying companies had to be U.S.-based and privately held as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006. Between 2003 and 2006, MiresBall more than doubled its annual billings, from $3.2 million to $6.5 million.
The national recognition comes on the heels of several years of sustained growth. Over the last two years, MiresBall signed several top-name clients, including Shure, a global leader in audio electronics, nail and beauty innovator Creative Nail Design (CND), and acclaimed men’s fashion and footwear designer Gordon Rush.
MiresBall has also expanded its relationship with existing clients, embarking on a variety of large-scale brand initiatives. Most notably, the firm spearheaded brand development for Qualcomm’s MediaFLO, a mobile television platform launched worldwide early this year, and helped orchestrate the most successful product launch in Taylor Guitar’s 32-year history.
